Appoints VVR Babu as an Independent Director

Chennai, May 27, 2016: Saksoft Limited (BSE: 590051) (NSE: SAKSOFT), announced its fourth quarter and Annual results for the year ended on 31st March, 2016 at its Board Meeting held today. The company has mentioned that their key focus will be enabling its customer’s Digital Transformation Journey.

Commenting on Saksoft’s annual performance, Aditya Krishna Chairman & Managing Director, Saksoft said “Last year, we have realigned our services portfolio, underwent brand identity change, and started empowering our customers through their digital transformation journey. We have received positive response from our customers and this has helped us in improving our operating margins which was our key focus area for the year.”

Review of financial performance

Consolidated FY 2015-16 review:

  • EBITDA stood at Rs 38.35 crore for FY 2015-16 as compared to Rs 28.21 crore in FY 14-15, up by 36%
  • Net profit before taxes was Rs 33.02 crore in the current year as against Rs 22.70 crore in FY 14- 15, up by 45%
  • Operating revenue was Rs 243.73 crore during the Financial Year under review as compared to Rs 231.40 crore during the previous year; an increase of 5%
  • Net Profit after Taxes was Rs 18.47 crore in the current financial year as against Rs 16.70 Crore in FY 14-15, up by 11%

Consolidated Quarter Review (Q4 2015-16 vs. Q4 2014-2015)

  • Operating revenue increased by 6% to Rs 62.59 crores against Rs 59.23 crores in the same quarter previous year.
  • 17% increase in EBITDA to Rs 10.13 crores in Q4 2015-16 against Rs 8.67 crores in Q4 2014-15
  • PBT increased to Rs 8.92 crores in Q4 2015-16 against Rs 7.39 crores in Q4 2014-15, up by 21%
  • PAT for the Q4 2015-16 stood at Rs 5.02 crores against Rs 4.98 crores in Q4 2014-15, an increase of 1%
