About The Client

The client is one of the UK’s largest independent cooperative societies, operating across diverse sectors including food retail, utilities, childcare, travel, and flexible working.

Business Challenges

  • We segregated and implemented a new platform for all utilities.

  • Childcare: All source parameters are through APIs. We implemented Delta logic using Cozyroc tool which will fetch last 2 years data and refreshes within the target table using the ETL process.

  • Phone & Energy: We have 2 separate sources – Azure SQL server & csv files from the different Database SQL Server. We implemented logic to bring data from a shared folder then transform them to a target. From Target we built Dashboard using Power BI tool for Business user as per their need.

  • Click & Collect: Source was SQL server; we implemented data calculation in ETL and loaded into target.

  • Food DWH: We have sourced data from CSV files and implemented calculation logic to move into target using the ETL process.

  • Food Reconciliation: Large and huge data from SAP sources, some data from CSV & DAT files. We unzip the DAT files data using the 7ZIP tool to unzip and load onto the shared folder then calculated through ETL to target.

  • We implemented a batch job monthly, weekly, and daily based on respective DWH, which was also triggering an email notification in case of any failure.

What did we do?

  • Delivered continuous enhancements across 3 brand websites to improve usability, functionality, and customer journey.

  • Implemented proactive monitoring and infrastructure support to ensure uptime and minimize service disruptions.

  • Optimized the platform to handle peak traffic efficiently without performance degradation.

  • Refined navigation, checkout flows, and on-site elements to reduce friction and improve purchase completion rates.

  • Provided 24×7 emergency support to resolve high-priority incidents and ensure business continuity.

Business Outcome:

  • Ability to build new DWH platform for Phone/Energy, Click & Collect, Food DWH, Childcare and Food Reconciliation utilities

  • Strengthened Power BI reporting
