Over the last decade, Information Technology has provided excellent opportunities for businesses to offer new breeds of products and services. Saksoft believes that IT solutions are driven by the necessity for organizations ‘to increase or add new business value’. Most of the day-to-day data requirements are managed by existing OLTP and operational applications. However, beyond this, there is a deep need to manage information for decision making and strategic direction setting. Apart from Web enabling applications, Migrating applications to newer platforms, Information Distribution and the building of Data Warehouses or Data Marts, Business Intelligence plays a critical role in creating excellence in information management.



Information management results in better reporting, compliance to regulatory requirements and the acquiring or retaining of customers. It also helps in fraud detection, prevention of cost leakage, M&A integration, performance tracking to drive change etc. This competency is supported by development competencies in Java and Microsoft technologies (along with middleware like BEA WebLogic, WebSphere, WebSphere MQ, IBM WebSphere etc.,). We have a through understanding and experience in various technologies in IM space including Databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata etc.,) ETL tools (Informatica, OWB, IBM Datastage etc.,) and Reporting tools (BO, Cognos etc.,).
